Meet Kismet Star's Founder & Executive Officer

Nicole Washington has dedicated more than two decades to mentoring, youth development, and empowering individuals to live with purpose. Since 2001, she has served as a trusted guide for young people and families, drawing on her deep faith and professional expertise to inspire growth and transformation.  

She became a Licensed Minister in 2004 and was ordained as an Elder in 2015, combining her spiritual calling with her professional career at the Newark YMCA and community leadership. Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Howard University. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work at Capella University. 

Nicole Washington believes that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. Her approach is centered around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. Nicole is committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes.

As the Founder of Kismet Star, Nicole brings together her ministry and social work background, along with her passion for coaching, to help clients discover their God-given gifts and live boldly in alignment with their true purpose.
